Benefit Passport to Posh | FOTD.

I was very excited to attend the Benefit event at my local Debenhams last week. The £10 ticket was redeemable so I picked up this handy little set called Passport to Posh for half price at £12.50 (there was also 10% off at the time)! It's also exclusive to Debenhams, full retail price is £25.

It comes with instructions on how to do your eye make-up which is great if you're a beginner, and I am when it comes to eye make up especially! I'm also looking forward to playing around with it a bit and seeing what other looks I can create.

I just did my eyebrows as well, I feel they could go thinner, a bit scared to pluck them more though!

On my lips I'm wearing a very faded Revlon balm stain in Crush.

As you can see the set comes with brushes, which is a nice touch. They are a bit too small to use with any kind of skill, for me anyway! I like the fluff brush, but the rest are too hard and awkward to use.
I love the little pot of cream eyeshadow/base, it's a really pretty pearly pink colour. It would be lovely on its own for a very natural look, it would also work well with shades from the Naked palette.
I absolutely love the mascara, I never thought it would live up to the hype but it does, I also love the They're Real! sample I got.
You also get the three powder shadows, boi-ing concealer and eye bright, so all in all it's fantastic value for money and it creates a lovely natural look. I'm very excited about eye make up at the moment!

Do you like Benefit, is this something you'd like to get for Christmas?

X

UPDATE: Here's the instructions that come with the set.

  2. I love the packaging on that little set! Be careful with your eyebrows - I think thick, full brows look the best to be honest and yours look great. I've noticed since I've gotten more and more into eye makeup that I kind of want to change my eyebrows a bit - so I can get a better overall finish with eyeshadow looks etc. I'm saving to go to one of those good threading salons to get them done properly though! xxx

    1. I'm not normally a great lover of pink, but I agree this packaging is great.
I am a little scared of over plucking them but I'd like to see what it'd look like. I've never had them done professionally, and I've heard that threading is pretty uncomfortable. Then again so is plucking and waxing haha. Let me know how you get on.

  4. I love how you've used the make up! Weird question, but I got one of these sets for Xmas but without the instructions on how to use it, could you possibly post a photo of them/email one to me?

    Thank you :))

    1. Thank you! Oh what I shame, that's really strange you didn't get instructions. When I get home tonight I'll take some photos and update this post with them included. Was lazy of me not to include them in the first place really!
