Mini Revlon Haul.

Something I really love about Christmas time is the special offers certain shops have on! Boots and Superdrug tend to have them all year round, but they have more around this time of year.
I popped into Boots a couple of weeks ago and I noticed that it was 3 for 2 on all Revlon cosmetics, this caught my eye straight away as there are a few things I've been looking to buy from them for ages. Here's what I got.

Nail Polish in Sparkle.

Just Bitten Kissable Balm Stain in Crush, Super Lustrous Lipstick in Black Cherry.

Top - Crush, Bottom, - Black Cherry.

Revlon Photoready Cream Blush in Flushed.

Nail Polish in Sequin (LE) - FREE.

This nail polish came free because I bought 3 Revlon products. I didn't even know this was part of the deal as I was in a bit of a rush, but the lady at the till was kind enough to go get me one!
I think it's perfect from the holiday season, it's gold glitter with larger gold hexagonal glitter with a clear varnish. It's really pretty over black or burgundy.

Just Bitten Kissable Balm Stain in Crush - £7.99.

I've been looking at these for a while, but I was put off because I thought they were very similar to Cliniques Chubby Sticks, which I was very disappointed by. I know I shouldn't have let that put me off but they just seemed too similar for me. There are a lot of reviews of these on beauty blogs and that's really what made me go for this. I love reading reviews before buying, it helps so much!

This colour is perfect for Winter, it's a gorgeous deep pink colour with a tiny hint of shimmer, which I didn't even notice until I took those photographs! The smell was a pleasant surprise, it's got a minty scent to it which I like, although it does fade slowly.

Super Lustrous Lipstick in Black Cherry -£7.49.

I have been looking for this lipstick for weeks and weeks! It was constantly out of stock in both Boots and Superdrug. I was just about to give up hope when I just happened to check and it was there, finally! It's a lovely colour and I don't have anything like it (that isn't matte!). It's such a lovely colour for winter and it has just the right amount of shine to it. It's perfect for Christmas parties and nights out, I'm so excited to finally have it.

Photoready Cream Blush in Flushed - £7.99.

This is something completely new for me, I've never tried a cream blush before. So I was excited to try this, I absolutely love the colour! It looks so bright and pigmented in the pan, but it's really subtle. Which I would be annoyed at, but of course I swatched it first. The colour really caught my eye, I didn't think I'd like it, but I'm glad I checked it out! It does take a few swipes to build up the intensity. In that picture above I'd say it's about 3 layers. You also don't get very much product, but I like the colour, the packaging and the texture, it's very easy to blend. I find that it lasts longer if you set the cream with a powder blush as well.

Do you have any of these products, would you like to try any of them?

  2. I love the Revlon Just Bitten Kissable Balm Stain in Honey. The colours can be very vibrant so I might just out a bit on and blend in with my finger to tone it down. It does last a long time which is great. I've heard so much from beauty bloggers/youtubers about Revlon lipsticks so I'm on the hunt for some good ones. I've heard the Lip Butters are especially good! Would you recommend the cream blush? It looks nice.

    1. I've not tried that one. They all look lovely though.
The only ones I have are that one and a matte one in Really Red, which I adore!
I wore it out on Saturday and I loved it. Find it works best when it's set with a powder blush. It's had pretty mixed reviews, but I think some people are just disappointed it's not as vibrant as it seems. It's lovely on pale skin.
