Jeneral Rambling: Liebster Award.

I'm so excited to say that the wonderful Rachel over at Stellar Skin has nominated me for a Liebster Award. Since I got back into blogging I noticed a few people getting nominated for this award and I hoped that one day I would be too, I just didn't expect it to be so soon! Thank you so much Rachel, I really appreciate it and I'm excited to answer your questions.At the bottom I've listed all the blogs I've nominated, you really should check them out as well as Stellar Skin, they're all fantastic! :)

11 Things about me:

1. I love going to the cinema, and I enjoy most genres of films.

2. I'm awful at styling my hair.

3. I have over 50 pairs of shoes, I especially love Jeffrey Campbells.

4. It's my dream to visit all of the American states, I've been to 9 so far.

5. I love looking at maps of the world, I find it fascinating.

6. I'm quite content in my own company, I don't get bored easily.

7. My favourite authors are Stuart MacBride and Danny Wallace, both of whom I have met or have signed copies of their books, or both.
UPDATE 26/01/13 - I've now met them both and have signed books for both! :)

8. I was born in London.

9. People dressed up as animals or anything with a full suit and mask scare me. DisneyWorld was a little freaky for me.

10. My favourite band of all time are Red Hot Chili Peppers, I've been to see them 3 times and will go again any chance I get.

11. Sometimes I look forward to being old and retiring. Sometimes the same thought terrifies me.

Questions from Rachel at Stellar Skin.

1. Where do you see yourself in 5 years?

I'd like to see myself in a job that I love, something fashion, photography or film related. Of course I want to be still living with Kyle and the cats. It would be nice to move away somewhere but a new job is my main goal!

2. What is your biggest strength?

This is a tough one, I have issues talking about my strengths. I suppose I'm kind, but sometimes it makes me a bit of a pushover which I don't like. I make a good cup of tea, does that count?

3. What is your favourite movie of all time?

Terminator 2: Judgement Day. Technically I have a favourite movie for each genre, but I won't get into that. I love films.

4. What is your top 3 makeup necessities?

This is a tough one! Concealer is my first choice, I can go without foundation, but not concealer! Blusher, I'm really pale and I think I really need a bit of colour on my cheeks. Last one...hmm, red lipstick probably. Either that of mascara, but I'm sticking with lipstick!

5. What is your biggest regret?

Not saving more money from my student loan and just in general!

6. Do you believe in love at first sight?

Somewhat, but I suppose it's more lust that you feel, love comes later.

7. What is the secret to true happiness?

Being happy with yourself and accepting yourself for who you are, not letting others put you down and doing whatever you want and love to do! Cheesy as that all sounds that's what I believe.

8. What is your least favourite makeup brand?

Ooh, that's another hard one...I've never really had any bad experiences with a particular make-up brand. One brand I've never been interested in is Bourjois, none of their products have ever appealed to me and I think they are overpriced for what you get. I can't say I don't like them though as I've never tried them, it's just my impression of the brand.

9. How important is being healthy to you?

I think it is important, I just don't make enough effort to be. Which frustrates me, I'm always trying to eat healthily but I just can't seem to. I'm sitting eating chocolate biscuits right now...

10. If you could only choose to spend money on either skincare or makeup, which one would you choose?

Make-up, because I'm lazy and also because my skin is only really dry during winter I don't buy many skin products.

11. Where do you see your blog in 1 years time?

I'd love to branch out into more Outfit of the Day posts, try lots more different brands of make-up and I'd love to redesign my blog at some point, I feel it's lacking personality at the moment. I'd also love to improve the photography and editing as well.
