MAC Venomous Villains - Bite of an Apple Blusher | Review.

This is a blusher I've had for a few months now, as usual I've just been lazy with my reviews! I picked this up brand new from ebay for £18. Probably a little more than I was willing to pay but it's my first MAC blusher and I absolutely adore the packaging. I was a little late in hearing about this collection (it came out in 2010 I believe) and I was really disappointed, I'd seen lots of these products in make-up collection videos on YouTube and I really wanted some for myself.
This blusher is called Bite of an Apple and it features the Evil Queen from Snow White and the Seven Dwarves. I would have loved to get most of the Maleficent collection, I think it had the most beautiful colours and packaging. The nail polishes look especially stunning! Maybe I'll hunt them down sometime.

I would describe this as baby pink with a tiny hint of coral. It has a matte finish and isn't very heavily pigmented but I think it's so pretty and is easily blendable as well as slightly buildable. It also works very well when used over cream blush to set it. As I said previously this is my first experience with a blusher from MAC, I must say I was disappointed with the pigmentation. Perhaps their core collection is stronger?
The packaging however is fantastic, I think it makes it fun to look at and is something different in any collection. I just wish I had more of them! I'd love to see them release another similar collection in the future.

The Good.

Limited edition.
Great packaging.
Fun collection.
Pretty colour.
Matte finish.

The Bad.

Limited edition (yes, it's good and bad! I wish I could find more of these products).
Price (yes, I know it was my decision to pay £18 for this on ebay).
Pigmentation could be better.

Once again the good outweighs the bad, and I couldn't be happier. I'm always a little apprehensive when buying things from ebay, especially make up! Not had a bad experience yet though, touch wood!

Do you like MAC blushers, which ones would you recommend?

    1. It's lovely, but I do have similar coloured blushes that are more pigmented than this and they cost less than £5.
I would still love to try another MAC one though!
      Thanks for your comment :)
