Wednesday Waffle Week 6, 7 + 8 | Forgotten photographs, Stuart MacBride + Films.

It's been far too long since I've done one of these posts. As you can see from the title I've had to condense 3 weeks into one in order to catch up! Shocking Jenny, absolutely shocking. So, what have I been up to? Hmm, not a lot I must say. This week has been busier than the two previous.

I'm going to do a quick run down of my favourite moments from the last 3 weeks.

Kyle and I had out 3 year anniversary, we celebrated by going out for a meal in Bellini's then to Tickety Boo's for a couple of drinks. I must say that the meal was rather disappointing, the pizza I had was decent but Kyle did not enjoy his chicken dish. I had a French martini that was very tasty though, which almost made up for it!

We also went to see Stuart MacBride do a talk at Waterstones - we were lucky enough to meet him afterwards and I got one of my books signed. Super exciting! I was my usual awkward self, I had no idea what to say to him so he probably thought I was mental.
Afterwards I went out dancing with my lovely friend Jess, we had a great night! Once the club closed we went to the casino for food, they do the best cheese and ham toasties EVER.

My mum wanted to go see The Hobbit so I went with her, this was the 3rd time I'd seen it. I absolutely love it, it's so brilliant. I'm currently re-reading the book too.

It was my aunties 40th birthday a couple of Saturdays ago so my mum and I went to her house - she was having a sleepover with all of her friends. It was a lot of fun, we had curries, drank champagne, played Just Dance on the Wii and played a game where we had to guess which embarrassing stories belonged to who (we'd all written ours anonymously beforehand). It was a lot of fun, I just wish I hadn't been working all day otherwise I would have been more up for it.

I also went to the cinema with Kyle to see Movie 43, it was fun, silly and shockingly hilarious. It had it's ups and downs, but it's one of those films that you really shouldn't take seriously as it's not intended to be taken that way. I liked that there are a lot of pretty big actors and actresses in it and they were willing to do something that takes the piss a bit.

As usual here's my links if you want to see what I've been watching and listening to - IMDb + Last.fm

This wasn't going to be a long post, but it's turning out that way! I have trouble being succinct.

I didn't take too many photos this week. I have been organising my photos on my laptop so I've found a lot of random photos and nothing to do with them, so I thought I'd post them here :)

This is when I first got my Naked palette.

I read a post by Bekka over at Fall Feathers about personality types (here) and I really wanted to find out what mine was. I'd done one before but I forgot. She also kindly added a link to a website that explained your personality traits - both good and bad! Mine is pretty spot on actually, it's a little scary but really interesting. You can take the test here, I'd say it take 5 mintutes. Your results can be examined further here.

On Sunday I went through to Perth with my friend Kirsty and she showed me around. It's not a very big place, but it's nice to get out of Dundee for the day. We ate pizza in a lovely little French restaurant, we also had an Eton Mess type dessert, although the meringue was a little disappointing.
Some photos from our little trip...
The first 3 were taken in Dundee.

My lovely new H&M bag.

I love weird things that grow on walls.

Oooh, erosion!

Yup, so that's it. There's probably a lot more that happened, but I think it would make this post faaar too long and it's long enough as it is!

What has everyone been up to for a past couple of weeks? Any film or music recommendations?

X
