FOTD | Famous Palette, Rimmel + B.

You know when you think you're trying something new and it ends up being exactly the way you normally do it? Maybe it's just me, but I thought I was trying something a little different with my eye make up here but it just looks like everything else I've ever posted! So I've promised myself, and now you, that I'll be going out of my comfort zone and pushing for something a bit different this week! I must be stuck in a rut, I've got the hang of this kind of eye, but I must move on!
Please excuse the slightly dopey expressions as per usual.

Eyes.

Urban Decay Primer Potion.
Role Model, Inspiration + Bare from The Leopard palette by Famous (review coming soon).
Miss Sporty Liquid eyeliner.
The Rocket Volum'Express by Maybelline (review here).
Rimmel ScandalEyes eyeliner in Nude.
MUA Brow Kit (review here).

Face.

Lasting Perfection concealer in Fair by Collection.
Match Perfection in shade 010 by Rimmel (review here).
Blusher in shade 1 by MUA.
Sleek Face Form in Light (slight contour only, photos are a bit washed out though! Review here).

Lips.

Shade 101 Kate Moss x Rimmel matte lipstick (review here).
B. lipstick in shade Eton Mess, on top to add slight shine. (review here)

As you can see it's very similar from my other FOTD posts, but with the addition of liquid liner and the eyeshadow extending out a little further! I thought that the main shadow I used (Role Model) would have more red/burgundy tones, but it just came out brown. Oh well, I'll try something different soon!

How do you do your eye make up, any tips?

  3. Very impressive use of eyeliner. Personally I'm terrified of the stuff, I always end up looking ridiculous/hilarious/both when I attempt to put it on in a straight line. Wish I had your skill. The make up looks flawless. Thanks for the comment on my post :) appreciated xx
