Daddys Little Girl Ain't a Girl No More | Photography by Hedi Slimane ft. Frances B Cobain.

Hey! Today I want to share with you one of my favourite sets of photographs ever. They are by Hedi Slimane, he's a fashion designer who also does photography. He shoots portraits, usually in black and white. Slimane has worked for Dior and now YSL, he also photographed Lady Gaga for The Fame Monster album cover. If you want to see more of his work you can check out his website. To learn more about him, see here. He seems like a fascinating and inspirational person.

On to the photographs I mentioned earlier. They are a series of portraits of Frances Bean Cobain, the daughter of Kurt Cobain and Courtney Love for those of you who might not know. They are from July 2011 and I've been in awe of them ever since.
She is absolutely beautiful, as you might imagine. Her eyes are so stunning and her style is bloody amazing! I also think her eyebrows are perfect. Girl crush alert!
I won't go into any more detail, I'll let the photos speak for themselves.

That first photograph isn't just my favourite of the lot, it's probably one of my favourite photographs of all time. It's just amazing.
If you want to see the rest of them then you can, here.

What do you think of these photos, do you have a favourite? Who is your favourite photographer?
Another of my favourite photographers is Mario Testino, perhaps I will do a post on him one day!

    1. I'm glad someone else appreciates it. I love terry richardson too. His style is so straightforward but powerfu fun and interesting. I follow terrys diary on tumblr. I'll need to check out Lisa Boyle though.

      Thanks for commenting!

    1. They are stunning. I've never really been a hole fan, but Nirvana will always be one of my favourite bands.
