So, it's been a while...

Where to start? Happy new year I guess! Even that seems a bit redundant now seeing as it's almost February. How is everyone? Healthy and happy I hope!?

As you may be able to tell I slipped out of the whole blogging thing for quite some time...around 7 months I'd say. Perhaps this was to do with my new job completely stressing me out to begin with. Thankfully it's calmed down and I'm glad Christmas is out of the way. Working in hospitality is no fun at that time of year, or so I believe. A lot of people seem to really enjoy it, I guess I'm just not as enthused by it all. Got my head down and working as hard as I can though. Most of the time anyway!

A few of my friends got married and/or engaged at the end of this year and also right at the start of 2014. Everyone seems so loved up at the moment, it's been very exciting! That being said I'm starting to feel like I'm getting older and should have my life planned out. I still have no idea what I want to do career-wise. I'm open to suggestions!

I do plan to get back into the swing of things on here - that's my first goal for 2014. I would love to be more proactive, do more rather than just think or talk about doing more! Does that even make sense? Work on sentence structure, that could be the next thing...

Perhaps some photos now, these are personal photos. Mainly social gatherings and nights out. That seems to be all I've been doing this month with 5 nights out in one month. A little more than usual.

Wednesday Waffle Week 14 + 15 | Bloglovin, Gilmore Girls and JT (again).

Oops! Once again I've been naughty and messed up my schedule. Work and catching up with friends and family has distracted me from my blog. That being said I don't think I've been busier than usual - although I did get a haircut, eventually!

I'm going to do a quick round up of things I've been loving over the past couple of weeks.

Music.

Justin Timberlake - Mirrors/his entire back catalogue.
Paramore - Now.
Taylor Swift - 22.
Fall Out Boy - My Songs Know What You Did In The Dark.
Swedish House Mafia - Don't You Worry Child.

Films.

Untraceable. 7/10.
Red Dawn. - 7/10.

TV

Gilmore Girls - I'm actually obsessed, and I've only just started watching it.
The Walking Dead.

Books.

The Casual Vacancy by J. K. Rowling. - Just started this last night, I really like the way it's written and it's fun to see J. K. Rowling swearing and being rude.

Also, before I forget, you can follow me on Bloglovin. Just click the icon below or on the right of my blog!

Not sure if I've posted these photos before or not, but I wanted to include them anyway, just in case.

I'm becoming such a cat person!

How has everyone been, well I hope?! I'd love to hear some music or film recommendations, it's always nice to find out what other people are enjoying.

Weekly Waffle - Week 13 | Urban Exploration, JT + The Following.

Good evening! It's getting rather late now, but I wanted to actually have this posted on Wednesday for once...

It's been and uneventful week, other than going out on Sunday for a wee dance. That was great fun, it was nice to see my friend as I'd not seen her in a long time. So I cracked out my Jeffrey Campbell Tardys and AA Disco Pants and I was ready to go (don't worry, I was wearing other clothes too)!
Would anyone be interested in seeing my JC collection? I've been planning to do a post on them anyway as they are my pride and joy, haha!

I spent a good 3 hours looking at this blog the other night. I absolutely LOVE abandoned buildings, they are so eerie and haunting. Combine that with some sweet, sweet photography and I'm in heaven or The Kingston Lounge! There's some really interesting and somewhat melancholy histories behind these decaying buildings too, so you should stick around the blog and do a wee bit of reading. Seriously, I read his entire blog in one evening. I found North Brother Island the most interesting - I even ended up Google Earthing it!

I don't have too much else to talk about really! I'll be posting a review about my discounted Dainty Doll products in the next couple of days as well as some other thangs.
The Candy Crush Saga saga continues, to my frustration. I've been stuck on the same level for quite some time!
