FOTD | Rimmel, Dainty Doll + FamousX Leopard palette.

Hello! Are you having a nice weekend? I do hope that you are.

I'm going to get stuck right in otherwise this will be yet another unnecessarily long, rambly post. This look incorporates some newish Dainty Doll products that I wanted to try out (reviews to follow tomorrow or Monday!) as well as some firm favourites.

On to the photos.

I'm getting a little better at liquid eyeliner - still some mistakes, but nearly there!

Face.

Collection (2000) Lasting Perfection Concealer.
Dainty Doll Foundation in 003 Medium.
ELF HD Powder in Translucent.

Eyes.

Maybelline Volum' Express The Rocket Mascara.
Miss Sporty Liquid Eyeliner.
FamousX Leopard palette shades Flash and Lavish.
MUA Pro Brow Kit.

Lips.

Dainty Doll Saucy Sailor.
Rimmel x Kate Moss Matte 107.

I sort of tried to do a cut crease type eye thing here, although I'm not sure I succeeded! I still like the way it came out though even if I didn't get the best photos. As you can see I had a bit of a break out, it's not very noticeable in those photos, other than the one on my chin. I think it may have been the Dainty Doll foundation as I had just started trialling it a couple of days before this and my skin didn't handle it well at all. More on that in the review.

FamousX Eyeshadow Palette - The Leopard | Review + Swatches.

Hello! Sorry for the absence, it's been a busy couple of weeks and I've not managed to write as much as I would normally like to, even with 5 days holiday from work!

This purchase was a spur of the moment kind of buy. I was reading one of Tattooed Tealady's Beauty on a Budget posts - here. One of the palettes stood out to me the most, the Leopard eyeshadow palette by FamousX. I decided I had to have it! At that point in time I was having a slight eyeshadow obsession phase. I saw that it was half price on their website, down from £8.99 to £4.49. I couldn't believe it, such amazing value! It was great value to begin with, but 16 shadows for £4.49, who could resist?! It's back up to full price now, but I assure you, it's worth it.

Surprisingly (for the price), the pigmentation and colour range it outstanding. It truly is, you'll see what I mean from the photos. There is a wide range of shades including burgundy, deep blue, green and a good variance of browns. It was the more unusual shades that got my attention, they are great for creating smokey eye looks that are something a bit different. I tend to go for very neutral colours like browns and greys, but this palette makes me want to try others! There are shimmery shadows as well as a few matte. You really have everything you need from dark crease shades to beautiful highlighting ones.
Be prepared for a lot of photos!

Look at those beautiful colours!
