March Favourites | 2013.

Hi everybody! (Hi Doctor Nick!)

Sorry once again for my absence, it's been a hectic month and it's not going to stop throughout April either. It's all change, but more on that later. Everything feels a little bit all over the place just now, especially my brain.
Finally the clocks have gone forward and there is more light in the evenings, it makes it much easier to take photos and things. However, I am not amused about losing an hour in my bed!

For once I'm on schedule with a post, here are my March favourites. You can read about my February favourites here. As you can see there aren't too many this month, but it's not about quantity is it?

Face.

Topshop Highlighter in Crescent Moon.
Review here.
This the best highlighter I own, I even prefer it over Benefits High Beam (I know it's liquid vs. powder, but still). I'm so glad I decided to pick it up. It's beautiful, and has a more natural colour to it than a lot of other highlighters that tend to be a bit too white.

Dainty Doll Blusher in My Girl.
What a lovely shade of pink this blusher is! I don't own anything like it and I picked this beauty up for about £2, can't go wrong with that. My only problem with it is there's a hell of a lot of fall out. I'll be doing a review on it soon.

Real Techniqes Buffing Brush.
Another new addition to my make up bag. I bought the Core Collection after seeing numerous fantastic reviews, and I mainly bought it for this brush I have to say. So glad I did, it works so well for blending foundation seamlessly into the skin, it's fantastic.

Eyes.

Urban Decay Naked Palette.
This is my go-to neutral palette, it's so versatile and easy to use for creating many, many everyday looks. It's a little pricey at £36, but for the quality and amount of shadows you get it's completely worth it.

FamousX The Leopard Palette.
Review here.

A little cheaper than the Naked palette (by about £28!) and I use it just as much! It has some fantastic colours in it and the pigmentation is all you could want. Love this.

Lips.

Rimmel X Kate Moss Matte Lipstick in 107.
Review here.
This lipstick is a beautiful shade, more suited for autumn, but who cares, it's lovely! Matte lipsticks are my favourite, if you've been here for a while you'll already know that, and this range by Rimmel and Kate Moss are among my favourites.

Nails.

Bourjois 1 Second Magic Nail Polish Remover.
I bought this one day on my way to work as I had accidentally left my nail polish on. Oops! Once again, I'd heard good things. Saves buying the remover and cotton pads too, even though that would still be cheaper. I didn't have time for all that messing around. I really like it, I wouldn't say it removes it all in one second, but it doesn't take long. Very handy to throw in your bag too!

There we have it, all my favourites from this past month. I didn't include foundation, concealer etc. as my favourites haven't changed!
What have been your favourites this month? Have you tried any of these products, if so, what do you think?

Thanks for reading!

  2. I never thought I'd buy the one second pot but I'm glad I did. I like the scent but I find the squeakiness of my fingers really annoying after... Plus if you use it for glitters the glitter comes out on your nail the next time you use it. Ooh by the way, I did that Versatile blogger thing and tagged you to do it :) xx

    1. I know, me either. Yeah, I always rush to wash my hands afterwards. I can imagine that would happen, very annoying! I tend not to wear glitter polish too much.
      Yay, thank you!
      :D

  3. I need the NAKED palette so much. Even if I do have some amazing dupes, it's just not the same! I shall get this very soon!
